The quantum sensors have in common to be based in their operating principle on the quantum properties of matter and light, and to possess a high sensitivity to external force fields.

The activities of PCQT teams focus on the development of several different sensor families:

• Atomic sensors
• Optomechanical sensors
• All-optical sensors
• Sensors based on « artificial atoms »

Laboratories involved: CAS, INSP, Institut Langevin, LIP6, LKB, LPENS, LPL, MPQ, SYRTE
